Hatteras, North Carolina weather is mild in winter, with lows in
the upper 30s. Spring is cool and summers are hot and
humid. Fall is warm and gorgeous.
Bring
a windbreaker,
sweater, and waterproof gear. Wear shoes with soft soles that will not
slip on a wet deck and bring polarized sunglasses (inexpensive ones are
fine) to better see the fish in the water.
The nearest airport is Norfolk VA, a 3 hour drive from
Hatteras. Driving time from New York is 9 hours, Washington, 6
hours, and 5 hours from Raleigh. |
